Tesla Model Y Juniper wraps: free Paint Shop designs for the 2025+ Model Y and Performance

The Model Y Juniper is the 2025 refresh of the best-selling car in the world, and it's the first Model Y that looks different from the front and the back. A light bar runs across the full width of the nose and another across the tail, the bumpers are new, and the Performance adds its own front end. For a wrap, that means one thing: the Juniper needs its own files.

Why a Juniper needs its own wrap file

Tesla's Paint Shop paints the 3D car on your screen from one flat image, the wrap template. Every panel of the car has a fixed place on that image. When Tesla redesigned the Model Y, the front and rear panels changed shape, so their places on the template moved.

Put an original Model Y wrap on a Juniper and the middle of the car looks fine, because the doors barely changed. The ends are where it goes wrong: stripes stop short of the nose, a graphic on the hood slides onto the bumper, and anything near the light bars lands in the wrong spot.

Which Juniper template is yours

There are four Juniper templates, one per trim:

• Juniper Base: the entry-level 2025+ Model Y.
• Juniper Standard AWD: the all-wheel-drive version of the standard car.

• Juniper Performance: its own front bumper and lower rear, which is why it gets its own file.

Base, AWD and Premium are close to each other, so a design will usually look similar on all three. The Performance is the one to be careful with, because its nose is shaped differently. Making your own Juniper wrap

Open the studio, pick your exact Juniper trim, and the right template loads with the body outline already in place. Start from a color, a gradient, or an AI prompt. Two tips for the Juniper specifically:

• Leave the light bars alone. Don't try to paint a line across them; Paint Shop draws the real light bar on top anyway. Let the design frame it.
• Start every AI prompt with "every panel painted". It stops the generator leaving a door or pillar blank, which is the most common problem on the Juniper's tall sides. The prompt tutorial has more phrasing that works.

Putting the wrap on your Juniper

Download the PNG, then in the Tesla app go to Creations > Wrap > Upload and pick the file. You need Tesla app 4.59.0 or newer and car software 2026.26 or newer, which every Juniper on current software has. Frequently asked questions

Can I use an original Model Y wrap on a Juniper? Not reliably. The Juniper's front and rear panels changed shape, so an original Model Y wrap lines up in the middle of the car and misses at the nose and tail. Use a wrap made on your Juniper template.

Does the Model Y Juniper Performance need a different wrap? Yes. The Performance has its own front bumper and lower rear, so it has its own Paint Shop template. Pick the Performance version of a design, or build it on the Performance template in the studio.
