The FrunkLab Wrap Cup is open: a month-long Tesla wrap contest, Nov 1 to 30
Our first Tesla wrap contest runs all of November. Make a new Paint Shop wrap, enter it in your car's group, share it on X, and the community's votes pick 10 finalists per group. First place in each group wins 45 AI wraps.

What this means for your wrap or lock chime: any wrap you make for the Wrap Cup is a normal Paint Shop file. Enter it, then download it and put it on your car the same day, from the Tesla app under Creations > Wrap > Upload or from a USB drive.
The FrunkLab Wrap Cup is open. It's our first Tesla wrap contest, and it runs from 12:00 AM on November 1 to 11:59 PM on November 30, 2026, Arizona time. Entry is free, any theme counts, and there are three winners in each of three car groups.
Everything lives on one page: the Wrap Cup, with the entries, the vote buttons and the official rules.
How to enter
- Make a new wrap in the studio. Paint it with AI or by hand. Every free account gets 2 AI wraps a month, and hand-made wraps cost nothing.
- Save it, then tap Enter the Wrap Cup. It posts to the gallery and lands in your car's group once it's approved.
- Share it on X, tagging @FrunkLab with #FrunkLabWrapCup. Your entry gets a Share on X button right after you enter.
That's it. You need a free FrunkLab account and a public creator page, and you can enter one wrap in each car group. Entries have to be new wraps made during the contest and your own work. AI-made and hand-made both count.
Three car groups
Wraps are judged against cars of the same shape, because a design built for the Cybertruck's flat steel panels has nothing in common with one built for a Model 3's curves.
- Cybertruck
- Model Y, including Model Y Juniper and the three-row Model Y L
- Model 3, S and X
The group comes from the car you designed the wrap for, so pick your vehicle in the studio first. If you own one Tesla and want a shot in another group, design for a friend's car. One entry per group per person.
How the winners are picked
Votes first, then judges. Signed-in members get one vote in each group and can move it any time until the contest closes. You can't vote for your own entry, and likes on the gallery don't count as votes.
When voting closes, the top 10 entries by votes in each group become finalists. We pick 1st, 2nd and 3rd from those finalists for design quality and creativity, and announce the winners on the contest page and by email by December 7.
A few rules keep the vote fair. Finalists are picked from votes by accounts at least 3 days old that made a wrap before voting closed. Vote counts appear on the page once an entry has 3 or more. Ties go to the entry with more downloads, then to the earlier entry. The official rules spell out the rest.
Prizes
The same in every group:
| Place | Prize |
|---|---|
| 1st | 45 AI wraps |
| 2nd | 20 AI wraps |
| 3rd | 10 AI wraps |
AI wraps are added to the winner's account and never expire. Winners also get a lasting badge on their creator page. You never need to buy anything to enter or win: hand-made wraps are free, and buying AI wraps doesn't improve your chances.
To win, your entry has to be shared on X tagging @FrunkLab with #FrunkLabWrapCup. We check winners' posts by hand. Following us is not required.
What makes a wrap stand out
The car draws your wrap on a small 3D model, so detail that looks great at full size can turn to mush on the screen. A few things that help:
- Big shapes, strong contrast. One clear idea per panel reads better than a busy all-over print.
- Paint every panel. A blank door or a white rear quarter is the first thing a voter notices. The 3D preview shows the whole car before you save.
- Design for your group's body. The Cybertruck rewards graphic, angular layouts. Model Y and Model 3 suit flowing scenes that wrap around the doors.
Short on ideas? The Tesla wrap ideas guide has dozens, and our AI wrap prompts tutorial explains how to describe a design so the AI paints what you meant. November is also a good month for a winter scene, and any theme is welcome.
Getting your entry onto the car
An entry is a real Paint Shop wrap. Open it in the gallery, tap Download Wrap, and you have a PNG built on Tesla's own template for your car. Upload it in the Tesla app under Creations > Wrap > Upload (app 4.59.1 or newer, car software 2026.26 or newer), then pick it on the car in Toybox > Paint Shop > Wraps. Our guide to sending a wrap from your phone walks through it.
